Can a Virtual Office Be Used as a Correspondence Address for ID Verification?

Okay, I’m mid-way registering for a service (not gonna say which 👀), and they suddenly want a correspondence address for identity verification.

Here’s the catch: I don’t have one. I’m not about to hand them my actual residence either — privacy and other reasons. 😑

I came across a site that says you can use a virtual office, but I wanna know from people who’ve actually done this. Will a virtual office work? Do they check if I actually live there? Or am I gonna have to find another workaround? Appreciate any blackhat-friendly insight 🙏

If they’re asking for “correspondence” and not “residential,” you’re in luck. You can absolutely use a virtual office — especially ones that offer real street addresses (not P.O. boxes). Just grab a doc with your name + that address. Done.

Okay cool, so like iPostal1 or Regus-type addresses work for this? They won’t dig into whether I actually live there, right?
