i fell for the “Freedom Plan” pitch. ryan daniel moran was running these ads about building a brand you can sell for 7 figs and i thought maybe it was deeper than the usual Amazon crap. $2K later it’s just: pick a niche, white label something, get reviews, pretend you’re a brand. he skips over the actual part where you generate demand.

i asked in the community how people are driving initial traffic and everyone’s like “we’re still working on building an audience.” no sales systems, no paid media, not even influencer strategy.

he targets the mid-tier Shopify crowd who want a brand exit story but don’t want to get into Facebook ads or affiliates. the Capitalism.com model sounds good but there’s no actual acquisition engine behind it. just belief and Bootstrap.

and his “incubator” was literally a glorified accountability Slack with 5-figure invoices floating around. no sourcing SOPs, no funnel integration, nothing about MOQ leverage or partner equity stacking. just vibes and vague launch momentum.

i reverse engineered his whole funnel. the guy’s content is clean but it’s all surface-level mindset meets productized hope. the real model is get people to build on Amazon and then pitch them brokerage services when they hit $20K/month.

💯 that’s the play. incubate product builders and skim the top 1% with exits. he’s not selling business models — he’s selling potential deal flow.

i joined back in 2020. same experience. they use phrases like “owner’s intent” and “freedom multiple” like they’re teaching equity theory. but no one in there could explain blended CAC or post-purchase upsell metrics.

it’s all euphemism. “freedom plan” is really just Amazon + aspiration. no list building, no product R&D edge, no deep channel mastery. just founder therapy disguised as a framework.
