I have a well-settled company in the United States and am planning to expand my company. But my other businessman friend told me that the rules of Luxembourg are very strict and very hard to follow… So, I have a question for you — are the rules of Luxembourg company registration really that strict or is my friend misunderstood?

your friend’s either a paranoid accountant or he tried to register under “Crypto Magic DAO International” and got clapped

Lux rules are only “strict” if you forget to put pants on your shell company

💀 not the DAO disrespect
he did say something about KYC being hell

KYC is only painful if you show up lookin like a Telegram scam avatar

just play it boring — “consulting firm,” old logo, fake board of directors — they wave you through

Lux loves two things: paperwork and pretending they’re not laundering money
as long as your docs look clean and you don’t name your company something like “FastCryptoTunnel Ltd,” you’ll never hear from them

so it’s strict on paper, but chill in practice?

strict for peasants, chill for clever people

if you’ve got a US company, you already look “legit” to them

just don’t be dumb and register yourself as UBO — put a nominee and pipe control through a trust or SCSp

SCSp again?? bro y’all mention it more than I mention Jesus

fun fact: I accidentally submitted two identical companies to the Lux registry

same address, same nominee, slightly different names

they approved both and sent a welcome email like I opened a gym membership

Lux registry employees just collecting paychecks and ignoring red flags like it’s an Olympic sport

bro I was scared they’d ask me for 15 docs and 3 interviews
but I got approved faster than my Amazon return

Lux rules are like airport security
they look scary, but if you walk through confident and white-collar, they don’t even scan your bag

unless you look like you just came out of Binance jail
then they hand you the forms in triplicate

TLDR: follow the rules just enough to not raise alarms

the rest is cosmetic compliance
Luxembourg ain’t strict — it just likes expensive-looking lies
