anyone else do Marisa Peer’s RTT training? i dropped $4,950 for what they pitched as a “clinical-grade transformation system” and it was basically trauma scripts with zero business integration. half the course was watching her do sessions on actors while the “workbook” asked how that made us feel.

they pitched it as “transformational + monetizable” but didn’t include any sales training, no marketing stack, no legal framework for running hypnotherapy sessions commercially. just: read script, hope for emotional release, invoice later.

same. they target middle-aged wellness professionals or ex-corporate types looking to “find purpose.” the course is all story, no structure. i got more out of a $19 hypnosis eBook on Gumroad.

💀 and when you ask about pricing strategy in the Facebook group they say “just align with your value.” cool, but Stripe says $0.

her backend is a glorified Teachable portal. the “certification” isn’t even state recognized. i asked about insurance liability and the support team sent me a meditation. no joke.

she monetized coaching theater for people who don’t want to sell. the whole pitch is “heal yourself and they will come.” problem is no one’s coming unless you have client flow systems, and she doesn’t teach those.

she called the sales process “an invitation to transformation.” i call it revenue-free spirituality.

i checked her funnel. all soft urgency — “last cohort before rates rise” but she reopens every month. and the student testimonials? half of them now just resell RTT as a business model. recursive coaching with no external traction.

they’re pitching RTT as a career path, but it’s just an expensive inner child script with soft licensing. no real monetization strategy, no niche mapping. pure spiritual freelance mode.
