this “digital arbitrage” movement is just another scraped playbook from 2017 that got recoded into a SaaS shell. half these courses telling kids they can flip chatGPT prompts into client retainers are straight lying. you’re not flipping arbitrage. you’re flipping your time into gumroad PDFs, hoping someone with worse copy buys it.

I tested one of those stacks back in Feb, whole backend was no-code on webflow, content API scraped from existing PLR packs, and the “automation” was just Zapier set to post on threads and send email followups. the only profit came from the affiliate referral, not the info product. it’s like a soft pyramid scheme with a prettier UX.

what’s worse is people selling “AI agency-in-a-box” using these exact same arbitrage loops. but you look under the hood and there’s zero delivery infrastructure. just Airtable, notion and a Stripe link. the hustle’s dead on arrival.

you’re describing like 90% of linkedin lead gens right now. everyone’s arbitraging prompts, scraping brandwatch data, and reselling it with a new UI. no one’s running ops, they’re running funnels.

i tried the “content flywheel” thing they pitch, where you repurpose linkedin posts into cold traffic ebook downloads… guess what? cpc was higher than the sell-through rate on the backend offer. killed it in 4 days.

they’re teaching arbitrage as if there’s a fixed market inefficiency between input tokens and perceived client value. it’s not arbitrage, it’s info laundering. the profit comes from lag between hype and awareness.

someone in my DM tried pitching “digital arbitrage media services” and their case study was literally a tweet thread and a $49 course sale. i asked for fulfillment pipeline — they said “mostly handled by Zapier.” clicked out immediately.

that’s the “ai do it for me” tier. like bro if your entire delivery stack falls apart without ChatGPT, you don’t have a business, you have a browser extension with feelings.

i tested the ai arbitrage “seo stack” off one of those nav drip courses. they told me to cluster keywords, slap together an ebook, run retargeting, and upsell a strategy session. total ad spend: $900. total return: $61.43.

lol brutal. and they always say “that’s part of the test phase” like bleeding cash is a rite of passage. bro i’m not funding your google ads hypothesis.

real talk: the only working arbitrage now is time and trust. if you’ve got a name, people buy trash from you. if not, your “automation stack” is just you hoping stripe doesn’t refund everything.

yup. there’s no arbitrage if you’re the only party with skin in. these sellers make bank, you just get API throttled and a bounced client.

i reverse-engineered one of the main ai-agency packs selling right now. their backend sourcing doc was from 2020 — same templates, same client examples. they just updated the font and told people “this is the future.”

😂 i got one that literally told me to upsell notion templates as “proprietary operating systems.” we’ve lost the plot.

can’t wait for the next wave of these gurus to pivot to “arbitrage arbitrage.” teach you how to package other arbitrage courses and license the license to license.
